From the celestial ether, the gods viewed the world in it's current state. It was pristene, the corruption had receded and the natural order reigned. The forest were filled with wildlife, the forests themselves thrived like they hadn't in many years. The world itself had gone through many changes. As the forests retook the cities, earthquakes and volcanic explosions had echted a different landscape. Rivers rerouted by floods and tremors. They looked at this new, dangerous realm and felt it was time to bring back their greatest creations to the surface. Olor, carving from bedrock, brought the Dwarves, gnomes, and halflings. From the forests and high trees, Drake formed the elves from the elements of nature. To make it so these few beings could survive in such a harsh, dominating wilderness, the Gods took these fresh beings and infused them with the spirits of the past heroes and great leaders of the past. Cain and Lucian, watching this world quietly spring forth man, elf, dwarf, gnome, and halfling knew that they must make sure that their presence in this new era. They sprinkled the souls of the most malicious, dangerous, and twisted of their past soldiers into the new beings as well. From there, the new era of people were born. The Gods had done what they could do, and felt it was time to see what their followers would do with the new world...
